Thanks for this useful post on Voltage dividers. I liked the Zener diode portion, Since it added more in my EE info. Recently I met a useful tool on voltage divider calculations. can a zener voltage regulator circuit, reduced at his minimal expresion, seen as a voltage divider?

Me: Reduced to it's minimum, the circuit is composed of an ohmic resistor and a zener diode switched in series. Since that construct divides the input voltage, it is indeed a voltage divider.
