I just bought Silver TX2 from UK, getting is shipped to home soon (europe). I just wonder, you said that The headlights used in your project was the one from Golf II and the diameter fits.

Did you did any changes to fit them or it was just plug in play?

Me: Another continental TX2, great news! The Golf II headlights fit into the 3D printed mounts I have made. They don't fit without these mounts.

I just purchased a 2005 TX2 and have started making it my own. Love the project.

Me: Today I have prepared more metal sheets for weling on my "rust free" TX2 ;-)
...but still love it, too!
Would like to see your TX2.
